The report offers one of the most comprehensive views of the CBRS ecosystem available today, using Full Activity Dump (FAD) data contributed by all Spectrum Access System (SAS) administrators.

Based on FAD data as of May 1, 2026, the report documents more than 440,000 active Citizens Broadband Radio Service Devices (CBSDs) and more than 1.3 million active spectrum grants. The analysis also identifies 157 distinct FCC-certified CBRS equipment models in active operation and examines adoption trends across LTE, 5G NR, and proprietary wireless technologies.

The report includes statistics on CBSD deployment categories, indoor and outdoor installations, PAL and GAA spectrum usage, granted bandwidth, grant allocation characteristics, antenna heights, and nationwide deployment heatmaps at both the state and county levels. These insights provide the CBRS community with a clearer understanding of how dynamic spectrum sharing is being deployed and utilized throughout the United States.
